It is an economic, easily installable, customizable and highly interactive real time mini fountain that controls the opening-closing of control valves, and color of streams in synchronization with ambient music.

It was my undergraduate thesis project completed under the mentorship of Dhananjay V. Gadre and Smriti Srivastava. This project was also submitted for the Texas Instruments Innovation India Design Contest 2015.

Designed a sound sensitive circuit using operational amplifiers to make the fountain responsive to high and low volume songs.

Designed a valves switching circuit using transistors to control the opening and closing of direct current soelnoid valves (12VDC, 500mA) according to the digital signals sent by MSP430G2553 microcontroller.

Designed a signal conditioning circuit (Low pass filter: 3KHz cutoff and biasing circuits at 5V) for efficient filtering and conditioning of the input sound and music.

Implemented 16 point discrete fourier transform on MSP430G2553 microcontroller for the separating the various frequencies present in the input sounds.

Installed water resistant lighting system along with the solenoid valves to add color to the water streams.
