  • It is an economic, easily installable, customizable and highly interactive real time mini fountain that controls the opening-closing of control valves, and color of streams in synchronization with ambient music.

  • It was my undergraduate thesis project completed under the mentorship of Dhananjay V. Gadre and Smriti Srivastava. This project was also submitted for the Texas Instruments Innovation India Design Contest 2015.

  • Designed a sound sensitive circuit using operational amplifiers to make the fountain responsive to high and low volume songs.
​
  • Designed a valves switching circuit using transistors to control the opening and closing of direct current soelnoid valves (12VDC, 500mA) according to the digital signals sent by MSP430G2553 microcontroller.
​
  • Designed a signal conditioning circuit (Low pass filter: 3KHz cutoff and biasing circuits at 5V) for efficient filtering and conditioning of the input sound and music. 
​
  • Implemented 16 point discrete fourier transform on MSP430G2553 microcontroller for the separating the various frequencies present in the input sounds.
​
  • Installed water resistant lighting system along with the solenoid valves to add color to the water streams.
