Project was selected among 19 finalists out of 450 national teams, Texas Instruments India Innovative Challenge Analog Design Contest and featured in the newspaper “The New Indian Express” education section.

-
Designed an infrared/red finger sensor with OPT101 photodiode to capture cardio signal.

-
Designed the simulated the 4th order bandpass filter(0.3-4KHz bandwidth) to filter required analog signals using operational amplifiers (LM358N).

-
Utilised the Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter(UART) of MSP430G2553 microcontroller and FT232R chip (serial UART to USB Interface) to export the calculated health parameters to computer.

-
Created a Graphical User interface using python to produce a health sheet on computer with the calculated parameters.

FT232R Board
UART to USB interface baord that allows the health parameters calculated by MSP430 to get transferred from UART to computer via Universal Serial Interface(USB)
